Disney Junior has ordered a new iteration of popular preschool series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Disney TV Animation is developing the project—whose working title is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2.0—for a 2025 launch on both the preschool net and Disney+. Rob LaDuca (Timon & Pumbaa) will executive produce, with Kim Duran (PAW Patrol) pulling double-duty as story editor and producer.

The original toon ran from 2006 to 2016 on Disney Channel, and it still consistently ranks among the most in-demand preschool shows, according to Parrot Analytics. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse has generated more than four billion views on YouTube, and its popular “Hot Dog Dance” vid is the second most-viewed video on the Disney Junior UK channel (11.3 million subscribers).

With a premise focused on problem-solving, each episode featured Mickey Mouse breaking the fourth wall and using his “mouseketools” to save the day with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. The new series will add a few features to the show’s winning formula, such as a brand-new area for Minnie in the clubhouse, as well as a new teddy bear character Duffy the Disney Bear.

Disney Junior has also unveiled a new stop-motion Halloween special called Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats (pictured below) that follows the squad as they explore a spooky mansion where a witch casts a spell that turns them into their costumes. LA’s Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (Robot Chicken) is producing the one-off with Disney Junior. It’s slated for an October 1 premiere on Disney Junior, Disney Channel and Disney XD, and will also land on Disney+ the following day.
